SOOO FUN TODAY :)

Ngehehehehehehe... had so much fun in Study Skills class today. :D We had a challenge today and the losing team would have to do the lion dance. We were separated into 3 teams. The other two teams were named as 'Thor' and 'God'. We didn't know what to name ourselves so I asked Wai Zoong to give a name. He started saying Fffffffffff~ while thinking and my lecturer just decided to name us 'Ffff'. WHUUTTT... The whole class laughed their asses off including us.

So anyway, our first challenge was finding as much ideas as we can from chapter 8 of the SS textbook. We were kinda lost so we began planning and discussing about who should do the drum sounds, the cymbals, the head of the lion and the butt. Yeah, we were already prepared to lose. :P BUT... we actually managed to get 90 points! 1st place, bro. The others had like 60 and 35 only. We were surprised but don't fret cause there's also a 2nd challenge.

The second one was on APA formatting on in-text citation and reference list to prepare us for quiz tomorrow. The rules were simple. The same 7 questions to each team. If a team actually finishes all 7 questions, the others have to stop too, no matter which question they reached. Yeah, we went and did it, not really expecting much. Amazingly, it went super smooth and we were soooo much faster than the other teams. Haha, I kept making noise and encouraging my teammates. I decided to do the 2nd question as well as the 7th one, which was the hardest. Wow. When I finished, team Thor was just on question 5 while team God was still trying question 6, I think. Haha, we were like 'Dang, we owned this sh*tzzzz.' Even though we planned to lose at first, we ended up with almost double the points of the other 2 teams. They were close with just 10 points different. In the end, Thor was the loser and had to do the lion dance. Alas, it wasn't to be today because time was already up. I'm so looking forward to the next class. HAHAHA :'D

Never laughed so much in a class in a loooooong time. Really thankful for all the crazy, fun friends I have. :)

A few days ago, I was watching the Korean drama, Law School, and a particular case disturbed me and remained with me for some time. It was one on physical abuse and rape by the person whom the character loved and trusted. I felt a deep sense of injustice because I know that this is very real in the world we live in, and many women suffer from the pain, betrayal, humiliation, and the lack of believe of others. Tonight as I lay on my bed, I am reminded of all the times I have encountered some form of being sexually harassed and nothing was done about it. I also think of the sexual harassments that my mother, my sister, and my female cousin all went through during their younger days, yet none of us knew what to do about it then.
